Kenshin stared at the dog-earred boy with wonder. Nervously, he rested his own hand on his sword, just in case. "No, I don't know who those two are. I came here by mistake, that I did." Slowly, he removed his hand from his sword and continued gazing at the others.

"I smell blood." He said simply before turning and running. He stopped.
"I might need a little help." Inuyasha sighed, putting and emphasis on might.

Mugen looked up as the newest of the strangers appeared, his dark eyes fixed on the sword as he stood back up. The convict couldn't help but snort as the kid named Inuyasha spoke, unless there was food in it for him, he was gonna try to find a way back home, or go find Fuu. But then again, maybe there was food involved... "What do we get outta it?"

Kenshin tilted his head to the side and scratched it in a confused manner, with one finger. Curious, he took in a large inhale of his own. The air smelled nothing of blood, and he would be one to know. "I don't smell a thing. Are you sure it's blood?" Kenshin asked, confusion deep in his voice. Even though he was a bit skeptical about it all, he stepped forward a bit. "Well, if you do I'll help you, that I will."

"Theese I guess." He said. Then he looked at Kenshin and pointed at his ears.
"I'm a dog demon. Can you guess what a dog's best sense is?"

Kenshin flinched a bit at Inuyasha's come back. Apparently, even if demons weren't evil and didn't want to kill you, they were still rude. "Oro...I'm sorry." That was only response that he could think of that wouldn't create quarreling between them. "And..." He stated again, "I said I'd be pleased to help you, that I would."

Kenshin decided to just keep quiet around this...dog demon, so he just nodded in response and hopped into the tree. Before they started off, he gazed down at the others and asked "You coming to? Or is it just me and umm...sorry didn't get the name, that I didn't." Kenshin looked at Inuyasha as he spoke his last few words.

Kenshin beamed, and shot his hand out toward Inuyasha. "It's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Inuyasha. I'm Kenshin. Kenshin Himura." Kenshin said rather quickly and excitedly. He just sat on the branch and smiled at the hanyou waiting eagerly for him to shake his hand.
